Privacy Policy – FlashCalc

This Privacy Policy describes how the FlashCalc mobile application (“FlashCalc”, “the app”) processes information when you use it. By using FlashCalc, you agree to the processing of information as described in this Policy.

2. Summary of data processing

FlashCalc itself is designed to work without requiring you to create an account or enter personal information such as your name, email address or phone number. All calculations you perform in the app are processed locally on your device and are not sent to the developer.

However, the app uses third‑party services (in particular Google AdMob, and potentially analytics and crash reporting tools) that may process certain information about your device and app usage for the purposes of providing advertising, measuring performance and ensuring app stability.

3. Information collected by the app

3.1 Information you provide

FlashCalc does not require registration and does not ask you to enter personal details such as your name, address, email or payment information. All numeric values you enter into the calculators remain on your device and are not transmitted to the developer.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the app, certain technical information may be collected automatically by third‑party services integrated into the app, such as:

• Device information (device model, operating system version, language, screen size).
• App information (app version, installation ID generated by the SDK, usage events).
• Approximate location (for example, country or region, if provided by the ad or analytics SDK).
• IP address and other identifiers used to deliver ads or measure performance.

The exact scope of data collected depends on your device settings, the configuration of the third‑party services and your choices (for example, ad personalization or “limit ad tracking” settings on your device).

4. Third‑party services

FlashCalc uses third‑party services that may collect and process data independently as separate controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies. These services may include:

• Google AdMob – for displaying banner advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, coarse location and usage data for the purposes of delivering and measuring ads, including personalized ads where allowed by law and by your settings. 5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies (for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the legal bases for processing are:

• Legitimate interests – to provide a functional app, display non‑personalized advertising, measure app performance, prevent abuse and ensure security.
• Consent – where required by law for personalized advertising or certain types of cookies/identifiers. Where applicable, your consent is collected through the consent dialog provided by the relevant SDK (for example, Google’s User Messaging Platform).

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including in particular under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar laws. These may include:

• The right to request access to and deletion of personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

8. Children’s privacy

FlashCalc is intended for general use and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or another age defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps, such as deletion where required by law.

9. International data transfers

The app may be used from countries all over the world. Third‑party providers used in the app (such as Google) may process data on servers located outside your country, potentially including the European Economic Area or the United States. Where required by law, appropriate safeguards are used, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission.

10. Data security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed in connection with FlashCalc against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted via the internet.

Data processed by third‑party providers is retained in accordance with their own retention policies and only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in legal requirements or in the app’s functionality. The most current version will always be available through the link provided in the app and in the Google Play Store listing. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app or by other appropriate means.
